The first time doing anything can be daunting. Whether it’s taking a new class or jumping in the driver’s seat for the first time, it’s always going to feel a little wobbly. Remember your first day of school? That sure is one scary first! And for kids who don’t know what to expect, their reaction can range anywhere from happy to downright miserable. They may get stuck in a class full of people they don’t like, a teacher that may give them nightmares (and not to mention endless homework), and they may even have to take naps. Yuck!
Well, for Mila, the first day of preschool turned out to be exactly that—a nightmare! Thankfully, she’s sassy and thick-skinned, so even though it wasn’t her cup of tea, she somehow managed to make it through the day and tell us all about it. From the sounds of her recounting everything that happened, she didn’t happen to enjoy a single second of her day there. Are you now wondering why? One of the first complaints the little 2-year-old has is that she wanted to go to law school, NOT preschool. But mommy said she was too young, so preschool it had to be. When she gets there, she was obviously expecting some discipline and manners (like come on, the girl wanted to be in law school y’all, and we all know law school etiquette). Things were actually quite the opposite of what she thought it would be.
She recalls kids running around everywhere, pooping anywhere they’d like, and the teacher asking Dave not to pee on his friends. Little Mila’s reaction to this entire episode is absolutely priceless! So cute. She says that things got so bad in the classroom, that she had to take matters into her own hands. And listen to what she does to calm everyone down—genius!
Nonetheless, this precocious 2-year-old survived to tell the tale of her first day at preschool and it’s something you’re going to wanna watch over and over again. This kid is gonna make it in this world, no doubt.
